These Terms of Use (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of ComicGPT - Manga Manhwa Maker, and any related iPhone or iPad application, features, tools, content, subscriptions, in-app purchases, AI-powered services, legal or support pages, and other services provided by Presage42 (collectively, the "Service").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
By using the Service, you represent and warrant that:
You are at least 18 years old;
You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms;
You are not prohibited from using the Service under applicable law;
You will use the Service only in compliance with these Terms and applicable laws.
The Service is not directed to children or users under 18.
2. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we may notify you through the Service or by other appropriate means.
The updated Terms will become effective when posted or when otherwise communicated to you, unless a later date is specified. Your continued use of the Service after the updated Terms become effective means that you accept the updated Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
3. Privacy Policy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, store, disclose, and otherwise process personal data.

By using the Service, you acknowledge that your personal data may be processed as described in the Privacy Policy.
4. Account Registration and Security
To use the Service, you may be required to create an account and sign in using supported authentication methods, such as Sign in with Apple or Google Sign-In.
You are responsible for:
Maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials and devices;
All activity that occurs under your account;
Providing accurate and up-to-date account information;
Promptly notifying us if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
The Service does not currently support custom user-uploaded profile photos inside the app. Where available, the Service may automatically use account information, avatar information, profile image information, or image URLs provided by supported authentication providers or configured avatar services.
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your account if we reasonably believe that your account has been used in violation of these Terms, applicable law, or the rights of any third party.
5. Description of the Service
The Service allows users to create AI-assisted comic content by submitting story prompts, creative descriptions, reference images, style selections, character information, and related inputs.
The Service is currently intended for iPhone and iPad. We do not currently operate a web app that allows users to sign in, generate comics, or manage user content through a browser. If we launch a web app in the future, additional or updated terms may apply.
The Service may include features such as:
AI-assisted story, prompt, and generation-plan processing;
Comic image generation;
Character creation and character libraries;
Reference image selection, upload, processing, and storage;
Style, genre, quality-tier, and language selection;
Generated comic libraries;
Export, download, or saving of generated content, including PDF and image files;
Account synchronization, local storage, and cloud backup features;
Subscriptions, credits, consumable in-app purchases, or other paid features.
We may modify, add, remove, suspend, discontinue, limit, or replace any feature of the Service at any time, subject to applicable law.
6. AI Features and AI Processing
The Service uses third-party AI providers, model-hosting providers, and related infrastructure providers to provide AI-powered features.
The current AI workflow may include:
You submit a story prompt or creative description.
Your prompt may be processed by an AI text provider, such as Anthropic Claude, to analyze, structure, and optimize the prompt for comic generation. This may include page layouts, panel beats, story decomposition, character continuity, and generation-ready prompt construction.
The structured prompt, reference images, style selections, character information, selected quality tier, and related generation data may be processed by one or more AI image generation providers or model-hosting providers, including providers such as fal.ai, Google/Gemini image generation providers, OpenAI image generation providers, or other providers we may use from time to time.
The generated output may be returned to the Service and stored in your account library, unless deleted by you or removed under these Terms or our Privacy Policy.
The specific provider, model, routing path, or quality tier used for a given generation may depend on the feature selected, the type of content being generated, selected quality level, provider availability, cost, performance, safety, technical requirements, or operational needs. We may update, add, remove, replace, or reroute AI providers and models over time to improve quality, performance, reliability, safety, or cost efficiency.
AI-generated outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, inconsistent, unexpected, offensive, unsuitable, non-unique, or similar to content generated for other users. We do not guarantee that any AI output will be unique, copyrightable, commercially usable, legally safe, error-free, non-infringing, or suitable for any particular purpose.
You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, verifying, and determining whether any input or output is appropriate and lawful for your intended use.
7. User Content
"User Content" means any content, materials, data, text, prompts, stories, images, reference images, character information, generated outputs, comics, panels, projects, files, or other materials that you submit, upload, create, generate, store, export, save, or otherwise process through the Service.
You retain any rights you have in your User Content, subject to these Terms.
You represent and warrant that:
You own or have all rights, licenses, consents, releases, and permissions necessary to submit, upload, process, generate, store, export, share, publish, commercialize, or otherwise use your User Content through or outside the Service;
Your User Content does not violate applicable law, these Terms, or any rights of any person or entity;
Your User Content does not infringe, misappropriate, or violate any intellectual property, privacy, publicity, image, likeness, moral, contractual, confidentiality, or other rights;
You will not submit content that you are not legally permitted to use.
You should not submit sensitive personal data, such as health information, precise government identity information, religious beliefs, political opinions, biometric identifiers for identification, or other sensitive categories of personal data, unless it is necessary for your use of the Service and you have the right and legal authority to do so.
8. License You Grant to Presage42
To operate and provide the Service, you grant Presage42 a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, transferable license to host, store, reproduce, process, analyze, transform, transmit, display, generate, create technical derivatives of, and otherwise use your User Content solely for the following purposes:
Providing, operating, maintaining, securing, and supporting the Service;
Processing AI generation requests;
Generating comic content and related outputs;
Maintaining your account, library, character consistency, project continuity, and generation history;
Enabling synchronization, export, download, save, restore, and deletion features;
Providing support and troubleshooting;
Detecting, preventing, investigating, and responding to abuse, fraud, security incidents, illegal activity, policy violations, or technical issues;
Complying with applicable law, legal requests, and enforcement of these Terms.
This license continues for as long as necessary to provide the Service and fulfill the purposes described above, subject to account deletion, content deletion, backup retention, legal retention, and other provisions in these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
We do not claim ownership of your User Content solely because you use the Service. We do not use your personal data or User Content to train our own AI foundation models, as further described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Ownership and Use of AI Outputs
As between you and Presage42, and to the extent permitted by applicable law, you may use AI-generated outputs created through your use of the Service, subject to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, applicable law, third-party rights, third-party provider terms, app store rules, and any restrictions displayed in the Service.
However, you understand and agree that:
AI outputs may not be unique;
Other users may generate similar or identical outputs;
We do not guarantee that you can obtain, own, register, or enforce intellectual property rights in any AI output;
We do not guarantee that AI outputs are free from third-party rights, restrictions, claims, or legal risks;
AI outputs may be unsuitable for publication, commercialization, advertising, sale, licensing, or professional use without additional review;
You are responsible for determining whether your use of any AI output requires permission, clearance, review, license, consent, or legal advice;
You are responsible for any publication, distribution, commercialization, sale, licensing, advertising, or other use of outputs outside the Service.
Presage42 does not provide legal, copyright, trademark, publicity rights, image rights, licensing, or intellectual property clearance advice.
10. Reference Images, People, Likeness, and Public Figures
The Service may allow you to upload, select, or submit reference images. These images may include yourself, other people, fictional characters, public figures, celebrities, copyrighted works, branded material, or other visual materials.
You are solely responsible for the reference images you upload or select and for any resulting outputs.
You must not upload, generate, export, publish, commercialize, or otherwise use content involving a person’s image, likeness, voice, identity, or recognizable characteristics unless you have all rights, permissions, consents, releases, and legal authority required for your intended use.
You must not use the Service to:
Impersonate another person or falsely suggest endorsement, affiliation, sponsorship, approval, or association;
Create misleading, deceptive, defamatory, harassing, exploitative, or non-consensual depictions of a person;
Create or distribute non-consensual intimate imagery;
Exploit, sexualize, or endanger minors;
Violate any person’s privacy, publicity, image, likeness, moral, confidentiality, or other personal rights;
Violate intellectual property rights in characters, brands, logos, costumes, distinctive designs, artworks, copyrighted works, or other protected materials.
The Service may not technically block every upload, request, or generation. Your ability to upload, generate, save, or export content does not mean that the content is lawful, permitted, safe, commercially usable, or approved by Presage42.
11. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use the Service to create, submit, upload, generate, store, export, share, publish, distribute, or otherwise process content or activity that:
Violates any applicable law or regulation;
Infringes, misappropriates, or violates intellectual property rights, privacy rights, publicity rights, image rights, moral rights, contractual rights, confidentiality rights, or other rights;
Contains child sexual abuse material or any sexual, exploitative, abusive, or harmful content involving minors;
Creates, requests, or distributes non-consensual intimate imagery or sexualized depictions of real people without consent;
Creates, requests, or distributes pornographic, sexually explicit, primarily erotic, or graphic sexual content, including explicit nudity or sexual acts;
Harasses, abuses, threatens, defames, doxxes, intimidates, or targets any person or group;
Promotes hatred, discrimination, violence, or dehumanization based on protected characteristics;
Promotes terrorism, violent extremism, organized criminal activity, or instructions for serious harm;
Encourages self-harm, suicide, eating disorders, or other dangerous behavior;
Provides instructions for weapons, explosives, evading law enforcement, cyber abuse, or other harmful illegal conduct;
Contains malware, phishing, spam, scams, or attempts to compromise the Service or third-party systems;
Attempts to bypass safety systems, moderation systems, access controls, paywalls, usage limits, eligibility rules, country restrictions, or technical protections;
Scrapes, harvests, extracts, or collects data from the Service without authorization;
Reverse engineers, decompiles, modifies, resells, sublicenses, or exploits the Service except as permitted by law;
Misuses subscriptions, credits, refunds, chargebacks, promotions, trials, or entitlements;
Uses the Service for automated high-volume generation, model training, benchmarking, competing services, or other unauthorized commercial exploitation without our written permission;
Violates third-party AI provider terms, platform terms, App Store rules, or any other applicable third-party terms.
We may remove content, restrict generation, revoke access, suspend or terminate accounts, withhold, revoke, restore, or adjust credits or entitlements, or take other appropriate action if we believe these Terms have been violated.
12. Content Moderation and Enforcement
We may use automated systems, third-party provider safety systems, manual review, user reports, technical signals, or other methods to detect, prevent, investigate, or respond to prohibited content, abuse, fraud, security incidents, or violations of these Terms.
We may review User Content, account information, usage data, generation requests, reference images, generated outputs, transaction records, and technical logs where reasonably necessary for:
Support and troubleshooting;
Safety and abuse prevention;
Fraud prevention;
Legal compliance;
Enforcement of these Terms;
Responding to claims, complaints, or legal requests;
Protecting users, third parties, Presage42, or the Service.
We are not obligated to monitor all content, and we do not guarantee that all prohibited content will be detected, blocked, or removed.
13. Reporting Content, Claims, and Abuse
If you believe that content generated or used through the Service violates your rights, applicable law, or these Terms, you may contact us at:
Your report should include enough information for us to evaluate the issue, such as:
A description of the content or activity at issue;
The reason you believe it violates your rights, applicable law, or these Terms;
Any relevant screenshots, URLs, account information, project details, or other identifiers;
Your contact information;
Any supporting legal or rights ownership information, where applicable.
We may take action at our discretion, including removing content, restricting generation, limiting access, suspending accounts, terminating accounts, or requesting additional information.
Where available, the Service may also provide in-app reporting, support, or account-management tools.
14. Subscriptions, Credits, and In-App Purchases
The Service may offer paid subscriptions, credits, consumable in-app purchases, or other paid features.
Subscriptions may provide access to certain features, limits, benefits, quality tiers, or entitlements for a recurring period. Credits may be purchased as consumable in-app purchases and may be spent on generation or other paid features.
Unless otherwise stated in the Service:
Credits are digital, non-cash, non-transferable, revocable, and usable only within the Service;
Credits have no monetary value outside the Service;
Credits cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred to another user;
Credits may expire where stated in the Service or where permitted by applicable law;
Credits may be consumed when a generation request or paid action is submitted, even if the output is not perfect, not commercially usable, not unique, delayed, or not what you expected;
If a generation fails due to a verified technical error in the Service, we may restore credits, retry the generation, or provide another appropriate remedy at our discretion or where required by applicable law;
We may correct, revoke, withhold, restore, or adjust credits, entitlements, or access if required due to fraud, abuse, refund, chargeback, payment failure, technical error, provider error, operational issue, or violation of these Terms.
All purchases made through the Apple App Store are handled by Apple under Apple’s payment, subscription, cancellation, and refund rules. We do not control Apple’s billing, refund decisions, payment processing, or subscription management interface.
You are responsible for reviewing the subscription or purchase details shown in the Service and by the Apple App Store before purchasing, including price, billing period, renewal terms, feature access, credit package details, and any applicable trial or promotional terms.
You are responsible for managing and cancelling subscriptions through your Apple account settings, where applicable.
15. Refunds, Chargebacks, and Revocation
Refund requests for App Store purchases are generally handled by Apple according to Apple’s policies.
If a purchase is refunded, reversed, charged back, cancelled, revoked, or otherwise invalidated, we may revoke or adjust the corresponding subscription access, credits, entitlements, generated-access rights, or account benefits.
Misuse of refunds, chargebacks, subscriptions, credits, promotions, trials, or entitlements may result in account restriction, suspension, or termination.
16. Free Trials, Promotions, and Beta Features
We may offer free trials, promotional access, discounts, experimental features, beta features, promotional credits, or limited-time offers.
We may modify, limit, suspend, revoke, or discontinue any trial, promotion, beta feature, experimental feature, or promotional credit at any time, subject to applicable law and any terms displayed in the Service.
Additional terms may apply to specific trials, promotions, credits, or beta features. If there is a conflict between these Terms and specific promotional or trial terms, the specific terms will control for that promotion or trial.
17. Public Sharing, Exporting, Saving, and Use Outside the Service
The Service does not currently provide a public gallery, public feed, public web link, public profile, social-media-style sharing feature, or community sharing feature that makes user-generated content publicly visible to other users through the Service.
The Service may allow you to export, download, save, share, publish, or otherwise use generated content outside the Service, including as PDF files or image files.
The Service may also allow you to save generated comic pages or related outputs to your device or Photos, where you grant the required system permission.
You are solely responsible for any use of User Content or AI outputs outside the Service, including publication, commercial use, distribution, advertising, sale, licensing, submission to platforms, publishers, clients, marketplaces, or third parties.
We do not guarantee that exported content will comply with any third-party platform rules, publishing requirements, intellectual property rules, advertising rules, content policies, or legal requirements.
18. Device Permissions, Local Storage, Synchronization, and Account Deletion
The Service may request add-only access to your photo library so you can save generated comic pages or related outputs to Photos.
Reference images for character creation or comic generation may be selected through Apple’s system photo picker or similar system-provided selection tools. These tools allow you to choose specific images to share with the Service without granting broad photo-library access.
The Service does not currently request access to your camera, microphone, precise location, contacts, or files outside the images you choose to share.
The Service does not read from your clipboard. Certain user-initiated actions, such as copying a prompt, account ID, or other text, may write to the clipboard.
The Service may store data locally on your device, including preferences, account information, cached content, draft data, generated media, or downloaded files, to provide account continuity, offline access, faster loading, and improved performance.
The Service may use Apple’s iCloud key-value storage to synchronize a limited local account identifier across Apple devices signed into the same Apple ID.
When you are signed in, the Service may synchronize account data, projects, characters, generated comic pages, and related data with cloud infrastructure to enable account functionality, multi-device access, backup, and restoration.
You may request account deletion through the Service or by contacting us at hello@presage42.com. When you confirm account deletion, we initiate deletion or de-identification of personal data associated with your account from active systems, subject to retention that is necessary or permitted for legal compliance, payment dispute handling, fraud prevention, tax or accounting obligations, security, abuse prevention, backup, enforcement of these Terms, or legitimate business recordkeeping purposes.
Some deletion steps may be processed asynchronously. Some data may not be immediately deleted from backup, archival, logging, payment, security, or legal systems, but it will be handled according to our Privacy Policy and applicable retention practices.
19. Intellectual Property Rights in the Service
Presage42 and its licensors own all rights, title, and interest in and to the Service, including the app, software, interfaces, designs, features, workflows, prompts created by us, systems, databases, branding, trademarks, logos, visual assets, and related technology, except for your User Content.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to access and use the Service through the authorized application interface.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, reverse engineer, decompile, create derivative works from, or otherwise exploit any part of the Service except as expressly permitted by these Terms or applicable law.
20. Third-Party Services and Terms
The Service may depend on third-party services, platforms, SDKs, APIs, AI providers, model-hosting providers, app stores, payment providers, authentication providers, avatar providers, cloud storage providers, synchronization services, and infrastructure providers.
These may include, without limitation:
Apple;
Google;
Supabase;
Anthropic or similar AI text providers;
OpenAI or similar AI image generation providers;
fal.ai or similar model-hosting and generation infrastructure providers;
Google/Gemini image generation providers;
Gravatar, operated by Automattic, where enabled;
Adapty;
Other providers we may use to operate, secure, maintain, or improve the Service.
Your use of the Service may be subject to third-party terms, policies, and rules. You agree to comply with all applicable third-party terms when using the Service.
We are not responsible for third-party services that we do not control, and we do not guarantee their availability, performance, accuracy, security, legality, or continued operation.
21. App Store Terms and Apple-Specific Terms
If you download or use the Service through the Apple App Store, the following additional terms apply:
These Terms are between you and Presage42, not Apple.
Apple is not responsible for the Service or its content.
Presage42, not Apple, is responsible for providing maintenance and support for the Service, to the extent required under applicable law.
Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support services for the Service.
To the extent any warranty applies and is not effectively disclaimed, you may notify Apple if the Service fails to conform to an applicable warranty, and Apple may refund the purchase price, if any, according to its policies. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple will have no other warranty obligation with respect to the Service.
Presage42, not Apple, is responsible for addressing claims relating to the Service, including product liability claims, legal or regulatory claims, consumer protection claims, and intellectual property claims.
You must comply with applicable third-party terms of agreement when using the Service.
Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.
22. Restrictions Based on Location, Sanctions, and Availability
The Service may not be available in all countries or regions.
We may restrict, suspend, block, or decline access to the Service or certain features in certain countries or regions for legal, regulatory, sanctions-related, security, operational, provider-availability, or business reasons.
You may not use the Service if you are located in a jurisdiction where use of the Service is prohibited or restricted by applicable law, sanctions, export controls, or our availability rules.
You agree not to use VPNs, proxies, false account information, or other methods to bypass country, region, sanctions, eligibility, payment, or availability restrictions.
23. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the Service, your account, your content, or any subscription, credit, or entitlement if we reasonably believe that:
You violated these Terms;
You violated applicable law or third-party rights;
Your account was involved in fraud, abuse, payment misuse, chargeback abuse, security risks, or unauthorized access;
Your use of the Service creates legal, security, operational, reputational, or technical risk;
We are required or permitted to do so by law, platform rules, provider restrictions, sanctions, or legal request.
You may stop using the Service at any time. You may request account deletion through the Service or by contacting us at hello@presage42.com.
Termination does not relieve you of obligations that arose before termination, including payment obligations, indemnity obligations, restrictions on misuse, or obligations related to your use of content outside the Service.
24. Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Presage42 disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, reliability, availability, security, and uninterrupted operation.
We do not warrant that:
The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or available at all times;
AI outputs will be accurate, unique, lawful, safe, non-infringing, commercially usable, copyrightable, or suitable for any purpose;
The Service will meet your expectations or creative goals;
Any defects or errors will be corrected;
Any content will be preserved indefinitely;
Any particular AI provider, model, feature, subscription benefit, credit pricing, generation cost, quality tier, style, or output quality will remain available.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty disclaimers, so some of the above disclaimers may not apply to you.
25. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Presage42 and its directors, officers, employees, contractors, agents, affiliates, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, or similar damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, loss of goodwill, business interruption, cost of substitute services, or damages arising from AI outputs, user content, third-party claims, publication, commercialization, or reliance on generated content.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms will not exceed the greater of:
The amount you paid to Presage42 through the Service during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim; or
USD 50.00.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
26. Indemnification
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Presage42 and its directors, officers, employees, contractors, agents, affiliates, licensors, and service providers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of or relating to:
Your use or misuse of the Service;
Your User Content;
Your reference images;
Your AI outputs;
Your publication, export, commercialization, distribution, sale, licensing, advertising, or other use of User Content or AI outputs;
Your violation of these Terms;
Your violation of applicable law;
Your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property, privacy, publicity, image, likeness, confidentiality, contractual, or other rights;
Your misuse of subscriptions, credits, refunds, chargebacks, promotions, trials, or entitlements.
We reserve the right to control the defense of any matter subject to indemnification, and you agree to cooperate with us in such defense.
27. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless applicable consumer protection laws require otherwise.
Subject to mandatory consumer protection rules and applicable law, the courts and enforcement offices of Istanbul, Türkiye will have jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service.
28. Miscellaneous
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any additional terms that apply to specific features, constitute the entire agreement between you and Presage42 regarding the Service.
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not waive our right to enforce it later.
You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign or transfer these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, operation of law, or similar transaction.
Headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation.
